Yoga and Meditation Training – InSync
I began studying yoga in 1997 and in 2000 I included chi gong (Chinese energy cultivation exercises) into my yoga practice. In 2005 I started studying a Chinese internal health and martial arts system known as Wu Dao Gong in Canberra. By 2007 I had put my yoga practice on hold to focus solely on Wu Dao Gong. In 2008 I incorporated the study Hun Yuan Tai Chi into my martial arts training. Through my training I have developed strength, coordination, patience, increased health and vitality, and learned to be sensitive and aware of things that cultivate my energy and those that take it away. Since 2009 I have focused solely on Yoga and Tai Chi and have been enjoying the journey. In 2011 I graduated from InSync Institute with certification as a Yoga and Meditation teacher. Following this I became a member of Yoga Australia and began to teach professionally. My yoga and meditation classes draw from my experience with the Iyengar style of yoga, the InSync Raja yoga, traditional meditation practices, tai chi and chi gong.
