Welcome.  My name is Leisa and I am your fun loving Holistic Health and Wellness Coach.  I am a Qualified Personal / Fitness Trainer and Health Coach that loves working as a Yoga Therapist.  My passion is in Alternative Medicine, and learning more about each individual soul.  We are all individuals that are searching to find our path and passion. What is yours?  I believe once we find ourselves, we unravel the inner and outer beauty of our true desires and passions in life.  "Dare to dream” and set yourself free!  

Health and Wellness is such a broad term and one that confuses the best of us, even those that have studied for years!  My approach is about keeping everything simple, we tend to over complicate the Human body which in return causes Stress, Anxiety, Weight Gain, Weight loss, Depression, Toxin build up, Anger, Unhappiness and DOUBT!  If we can FREE the body of built up toxins, we then FREE the mind of confusion, Stress and Anxiety.  We allow space to actually open our eyes to the inner soul and look from the outside in.  YOU BECOME FREE and most of all HAPPY..... Life changes as you change.  Can you Imagine having a body FREE of ailments, a clear mind and a passion for life.  

I was once a very unhappy closed off individual that felt owned and crushed... I had very low self-esteem, smoked and drank a great deal.  How did I turn my life around you ask? I went on a journey to self-discovery.... The best thing I can offer as a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, is my unique approach to unraveling your true inner fears to overcome and move forward.  It may sound a little scary, but it is with a leap of faith and stepping one foot in front of the other that true change occurs not only in the mind but significantly in the body and continues for eternity.... 8 Years ago now I lost 22 Kilos and never regained this weight, nearly 5 years ago I quit smoking with never looking back, my alcohol intake went from a bottle of wine a night to special occasions.

Ive been practicing yoga online at home for about 12 months so I was very excited about doing the yoga therapy program with Leisa. I wasnt really sure what to expect but it turned out to be an incredibly rewarding experience. I am generally healthy and athletic, with a passion for cycling. I carry a few injuries and suffer a bit of soreness. Leisa was very holistic in her approach towards my health and her initial questionnaire was very thorough. During the sessions Leisa was very knowledgeable, encouraging and patient in her asana instruction. I never felt like I was required to do something I wasnt capable of or flexible enough for. The assisted yoga and massage was amazing. I feel like I now have a much better sense of alignment and form which has not only helped me with yoga but in other exercise & activities too. Leisa also introduced me to pranayama and meditation. While I was aware of these I hadnt really immersed myself during practice before and its really the best part! Within a short time I was using the breath to guide me towards establishing my own practice. Being fairly very reliant on videos I didnt have the confidence to do this before. Wow! Wow! Wow I have just finished having a session of "hands on yoga" and "Chakra Healing" from Leisa Timms It was amazing! The session lasted 1.5 hours and it was just fantastic! I walked into the session feeling quite stiff and sore and walked out without any pain in my hips and feeling loose and flexible.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to do some 1 on 1 yoga therapy sessions with Leisa. At the time I was going through a particularly bad time with anxiety and depression over a few different issues. Leisa suggested we try some Reiki also to see if this could help make a difference and give me some relief. My anxiety was crippling me so I was willing to try anything and open to it. The 1 and 1 yoga was extremely stress relieving. At first I found it hard to let go but as soon as I completely relaxed and learnt to breathe properly I started to notice the benefits. The breathing techniques Leisa taught me has helped me control my anxiety and there were certain postures and releases I was taught that I still continue to use at home to relieve tension in my body, especially my hips, back and legs. It is hard to explain how I felt during and after my 1st Reiki session. It was a surreal experience and I am so glad I was open to it. The issues I brought up in that session have ceased to cause me any more grief. I had a feeling of complete weightlessness. I could not even feel the mat beneath my body. A few weeks later we visited Reiki again during a 1 on 1 yoga session and balanced my Chakras. I was experiencing some anxiety over a certain issue so Leisa incorporated some hypnotherapy in to the session. I have always been skeptical over hypnotherapy but it is amazing and works. I intend to do more hypnotherapy with Leisa to improve certain areas of my life and certain mindsets/habits. I cannot recommend Leisa

Just wanted to pass on my thanks for a great 5 week session. My goal was to increase core strength, legs and arms and to increase & maintain flexibility, posture and strength. I was impressed from the very first session learning a new breathing technique and chakras for body healing. Your knowledge and calmness delivers guidance that is easy to follow. I use the release postures often and breathe through the poses and can feel my body realigning with the stretches. Ive learnt to breathe from the belly into parts of my body that require attention, the poses helped my recent back pain after a flu spell with too much bed rest creating unwanted aches. The stretches, relaxation, meditation techniques and remedies via the links you provided me helped immensely. I appreciate the time taken to really listen and focus on me. The page of Asanas is fantastic too, I love that I can see which one I might need to do the most at a particular need. It has been such a positive experience for my body, mind and soul that I can continue on with thanks to all techniques available via the on line video links.
