Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, controlled directed breathing and visualisation. With its foundations set in ancient yogic tradition, it works on body, mind and spirit, improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and rejuvenating your whole being. Designed to be practised by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and age groups. Dru Yoga can help you find equanimity with activations, energy block releases, postures, sequences and relaxation.  The aim of Dru Yoga remains simple, to help relieve the stresses and pressures of modern day living.

Nicky has been practicing Dru Yoga for over 10 years and has recently completed the Dru Meditation Teacher Training. Her business is True Equanimity Yoga and she recently completed Mental Health Aware Yoga teacher training. She has worked in the community services sector for twenty years with young people and older adults as well as in the mental health sector. She lectured in community services at TAFE, managed headspace Bunbury youth mental health service and currently works in mental health promotion and suicide prevention. Nicky also facilitated Living Well chronic disease self management courses, which included guided meditation and progressive muscle relaxation, and Stay on Your Feet Move Your Body workshop to promote strengthening, balancing and falls prevention in older adults.

Nicky is a member of Amnesty International Australia, campaigning for human rights around the world. She was drawn to Dru Yoga with its involvement in the World Peace Flame and has her own flame at home. She fund raises for the World Peace Flame and promotes peace within, peace close by and peace world wide.
