This is a heart-healing workshop designed for mothers who have suffered the devastating loss of a baby, infant or child.
About this Event
Our intention is to create and hold a safe, sacred space for you to pause, reconnect with your breath and with yourself. Nurture and nourish your precious heart with gentle support and rest for your body, mind and spirit.
The workshop consists of a session of Restorative Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation, nourishing refreshments and the chance to honour and remember your loved one in a safe, supportive environment.
All those in attendance have experienced the loss of a baby, infant or child, and the purpose of the workshop is to hold the memory, while allowing yourself to heal.
The Yoga and meditation sessions will be run by Glenis Wilkinson, an experienced Yoga and Meditation Teacher based in Brisbane. Glenis began teaching in 2012 and is a registered member of Yoga Australia and Meditation Australia. Glenis feels privileged to share these ancient practices and her practice is designed to soothe the soul, calm the mind and relax the body.

11:30 am - Restorative Yoga*
* Restorative Yoga uses props to create positions of ease and comfort, that facilitate relaxation and health. We'll practice undoing, just being. Resting into being and the present moment, while simply breathing and experiencing stillness. This practice will create a calmer, more present mind and has pyhsical and psychogical benefits.
