Since 2009, Bloom Yoga has become synonymous in and around Perth with both pregnancy and yoga.

The demand for skilled and competent pre-natal teachers is becoming more and more of a necessity.  By sharing our experience and broadening the skills of other teachers in this specialty offering, more teachers will be equipped to teach pregnant women.

As a collective community of yoga practitioners and mothers, we look forward to sharing the depth of our knowledge and experience with other teachers looking to safely guide their own students in a practice for pregnancy, labour and birth in any and all forms.

Registered with Yoga Australia, this comprehensive 30 hour Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher Training course will explore the theory and practical concepts of safely and confidently teaching yoga to women at all stages of pregnancy.

Our specialist training will not only incorporate our own unique method of delivery and sequencing, but will also include the opportunity to observe pre-natal classes to further their understanding and skills, in addition to further reading and course work.  Students are also given the opportunity to provide pre-natal classes in a Not For Profit setting in order to gain first hand experience, sharing these new found skills with mothers to be.

Our Lead Facilitator, Sara Evans has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years, she came to be a passionate teacher of prenatal after her first child was born in 2008.  In the decade that has followed, she has been a passionate advocate and teacher of more than 3000 hours of prenatal yoga, in addition to more than 200 hours facilitating workshops on how to use Yoga for an active and empowering transition into motherhood through birth.

In keeping with Bloom's boutique offering, we believe that learning in a small group setting maximises learning, therefore places on our trainings are strictly limited to no more than 12.
