I went to my first yoga class over 20 years ago, however I began practicing regularly after a breast cancer diagnosis, bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction in 2015.
I enjoy all styles of yoga, but my particular areas of interest are Vinyasa, Restorative, and Meditation.
Yoga has helped me to find my sense of identity, make peace with the many challenges of life, and feel strong in my body and soul, and I am now deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the yoga experience with others.
I'm currently teaching at the beautiful space that is Vitality Yoga, in the very lovely North Brisbane seaside village of Sandgate.
When I'm not on my mat I can generally be found reading about anatomy and physiology, gardening, walking with my family and dogs on the beach, and building dreams for my future living on Queensland's wonderful Sunshine Coast. I'll also be starting Pilates teacher training soon.
