Teaching yoga to all my students is amazing. It is a wonderful experience sensing the peacefulness and calm radiating from everyone at the completion of our yoga classes. This friendship and respect inspires me to teach to the best of my ability. It is with this desire that I learn, read constantly, attend workshops, classes and have my own regular practice.
Yoga comes from the heart, and it is essential that every student, regardless of age, is accepted as an individual with personal needs and requirements. Modifications to postures enable all students during my classes to benefit from a well balanced, accessible yoga program. All our classes are less than ten students and held indoor overlooking the beautiful Broadwater which is across from Paradise Point.
I have been practising yoga for over eighteen years, and especially enjoy teaching within a biological and anatomical framework. Yoga therapeutic classes, influenced by evidence based research, are important in my teaching and provide a safe foundation for effective learning. My desire now is to bring yoga's amazing health benefits to my lovely students, so they too can feel the happiness, contentment and friendship that yoga brings to all.
