I had an excruciating pain in my right arm when raising and extending it. The diagnosis was tennis elbow and after the weeks of very good physiotherapy I was still suffering albeit less but the pain had moved into my left arm as well.
I have practiced yoga as a form of exercise for years and knew that Rochelle was a yoga therapist, so I made an appointment. On my first visit Rochelle took the time to fully understand my health history, my reason for being there and carefully observed my posture.
Then followed a summer of weekly private lessons using stretching exercises, breath work, foam noodles, belts, balls, walls, blankets and pillows. On leaving the session I would always be given a sheet of targeted exercises to do at home. All the exercises were both restorative and gentle focusing on my whole body and not just where my pain was located.
A year on I am pain free and still use the methods Rochelle taught me. Taking a class with Rochelle is like treating your body to a mini-spa break condensed into an hour. Yoga therapy with Rochelle resolved m tennis elbow and was beneficial to my body as whole. Thank you, Rochelle.
