My passion and mission is to support busy mums like myself in cultivating more peace and presence in their daily life through the tools of Yoga. As a busy mum myself I know the challenges associated with juggling many roles, endless to-do lists and the many unexpected curve balls children throw at us daily. Getting to a Yoga studio can be a real challenge and most timetables just don't cater to our needs. This is why I created Yoga For Busy Mums. We have a Monday Me-time class at 8pm and a Sunday Slow Flow at 8.30am. More services will be coming so watch this space!

I personally have practised Yoga for over 16 years, initially in the Iyengar tradition and later Ashtanga Vinyasa. Once I became a mum for the first time in 2015, I found these traditional formats didn't fit with my needs anymore - I was too tired to do such strenuous asana and the length of the practices made it difficult or impossible to maintain. I did my 500 hour teacher training at the Yoga Institute where they teach Classical Yoga with an emphasis on the viniyoga of Yoga - that is, teach according to the student's needs. This principle, along with the high quality training I received in anatomy and physiology, sequencing, yoga energetics, pranayama, meditation and Yoga philosophy, among other subjects, has allowed me to tailor my classes and one on one sessions to meet the needs of individuals or groups with similar needs. My Yoga For Busy Mums classes are designed to meet the specific needs of busy mums who are very often living mostly overdrive and feel overwhelmed at the demands placed on them.
