I have been practicing yoga since 1995 and formalised my teacher training in 2004 at the Yoga and Pilates Training Academy in Byron Bay. After my training I developed my skills of working with a range of students by taking a variety of classes, workshops, and intensives in a number of gyms throughout Melbourne, Australia. In 2008 I moved to the Sunshine Coast where I took up residency as the principle Yoga and Pilates instructor at the Hyatt Regency Coolum until 2012. During this time I was also running my own private yoga business working one on one with clients and their unique needs. This close contact with clients, and working in a more therapeutic way led me to return to university where I completed a Bachelor in Counselling in 2014 and am currently studying a Masters of Counselling.

I am presently building my new business The Well-Being Project which will promote the benefits of combining yoga, mindfulness, mediation, and authentic living with traditional forms of counselling therapy. Through the Well-Being Project workshops, retreats, and ongoing group sessions, I hope to offer programs that increase conscious awareness of self and others by healing the past, that promote self growth and self love through an exploration of your true longing, and that encourage you to live an authentic life of connection.

Tamaras teaching style appeals to me because it isnt just doing yoga poses. Her style takes you seamlessly and fluidly from one exercise to the other building flexibility and strength and at the same time stretching tight muscles. Regardless of my physical limitations from time to time we seem to manage to work every muscle in every class. Tamara's style is adaptive to your condition so that when I have had a bad back or somehow injured other parts of my body she adjusts the class to protect that but also to work on healing the injury. During the period 2009-2011 I attended Tamara's yoga classes 3-4 times a week at the Hyatt Regency Coolum. Since 2011, I have engaged Tamara to provide private lessons at my home. We have classes as often as possible between 3 and 10 times a week depending on schedules. I am fitter today than ever in my life because of my work with Tamara. I have recommended Tamara to friends and will continue to do so

I have been attending classes with Tamara since 2008 and having private weekly yoga sessions in my home since 2014. Her knowledge, skill, dedication, and intuitive nature bring a positive calm mind and body connection to all her classes. She is an amazing yoga teacher and individual.

I started attending Tamara's yoga classes at the Hyatt Coolum in 2008 and continue private sessions with her every week. As an asthmatic it was important for me to find a yoga teacher who knew how to design a program to suit my needs. Someone who was knowledgable and confident with my condition which Tamara has been since the first class. I particularly like her rejuvenation and relaxation sessions which help me a lot.

I attended Tamara's classes during my stay at the Hyatt Coolum in 2011. Tamara is a very unique and talented instructor. She is caring without being over bearing and is extremely understanding of individual's specific requirements in her classes. Tamara is very gifted and is always willing to support all participants, to gain their best outcome, and always remains totally respectful and professional.

Tamara worked for me as the principle yoga and pilates instructor at my gym in Caulfield, Melbourne from 2005 until 2008. (Beachhouse/Central Fitness/Genesis) Tamara was a dedicated and adaptable teacher who cared about her students. She brought a professional and compassionate nature to her classes, designing programs that addressed and challenged her student's needs, and as such was a very popular teacher and her classes were always overflowing.
