I started my yoga journey back in 2014. Originally I was drawn into it as a method to increase my body awareness and flexibility, and to get a better body-mind integration prior to attending a Shaolin Kung Fu school in China. When I returned to Australia, my Kung Fu practice slowly fell by the wayside, however my Yoga stayed consistent. 

I have a long background in physical and mental health and exercise. My tertiary studies have placed me in a wonderful position to be on the very cutting edge of new ideas and methods in health of populations, and how this traces back to, and traces from the individual. Current research clearly shows the importance of a sense of autonomy and integrity on an individuals well being which can be broadly defined from the yogic Yamas and Niyamas. The importance of physical activity (Asana), purpose (Dharana), learning (Dhyana) and connection (Samadhi).
I strive to apply the principles of yoga to current life, and allow each class to be a retreat from the hustle of modern life.
